The Brick Garden Club is a civic organization under the auspices of the Brick Township Recreation Department. The purpose of the Club is to educate members and the public about gardening and related topics as well as to enhance the community with beautification projects.
History: The Brick Garden Club was initiated in September 1999 by Robert Anstett of the Brick Township Recreation Department in conjunction with Brick resident Dianna Janos.
A committee was originally established to create an herb garden at the Haven’s Homestead on Herbertsville Rd. The Club’s first meeting in September 1999 was enthusiastically attended; 62 people signed up for the Club that night. We have been growing steadily ever since; currently we have 125 members.
